Hudson Shribman are seeking an experienced Precision Grinder to join our busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department.

Essential experience / skills:

• Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding
• CNC Grinding (Studer / Jones & Shipman Ultramat ) experience an advantage.
• A good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Must be a proactive team player.
• Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
• Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
• Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
• Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.
• Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills.

Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm & Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm.
