What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide leadership and management guidance in delivery of Product Lifecycle Management, Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) integrated Bill of Material (BoM) and data management process capability, toolsets and overall strategy for HCFP
  • Control Account Management for Engineering Integration Scope
  • Provide guidance, training and support to project team members working with product information and wider project guidance to ensure effective Product Configuration
  • Deliver targeted and measurable Knowledge Transfer to in-country’ Australian based teams for owned toolset capabilities and business processes
  • Co-ordinate collaboration of IM&T and business support teams deployed to support Engineering Integration solution
  • Deliver key enterprise integration quality indicators, including for all key BoM interfaces

Your skills and experiences:

  • Degree qualified preferably in a Systems Engineering related discipline or equivalent Systems Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of warship or large platform (System of Systems) design processes and inter-relationships and design delivery
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lifecycle management (LCM), Engineering Processes and Bill of Material management
  • Extensive experience in delivery of Data processes and systems
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills

Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered

The Engineering Integration Team:

The purpose of your role is to provide strategic leadership and direction in the deployment of the Engineering Integration Global Combat Ship solution into the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP). Managing a global UK/Australian team, your role is responsible for the delivery of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Engineering Data Management to enable the execution and governance of the engineering programme.
