Hudson Shribman have an exciting opportunity for client based in the Kidderminster area who are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager Responsibilities

• Maintain an overview of all assigned projects and communicate status with management
• Understand and comply with customer project and related contractual requirements
• Manage integrated project teams, including sub-contractors, to deliver projects on time, on cost and to quality
• Hold regular team project status reviews for individual projects and update project metrics
• Produce assembly instructions (SOP’s) for new products
• Complete, and publish, Risk Assessments for new products and maintain/update those for existing products as designs / regulations change
• Produce engineering drawings, as part of the team, and to sign off others drawings

Engineering Manager Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience in an engineering design environment
• Have a good understanding of product / process development, verification and validation techniques and tools
• Practical knowledge of engineering design, change management, problem solving
• Able to work amongst a wide variety of functions and management levels
• Proven experience of leading teams within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
• Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering fundamentals, practices, processes and procedures
• Engineering Degree or Engineering HND qualified
• Proficient with either AutoCAD or Solidworks

Hours – Monday to Friday dayshift with an early finish on Friday

Salary – £50k to £60k depending on experience
