Hudson Shribman are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our client based in Hinckley

Fabricator Responsibilities

• Support the installation, maintenance, modification and repair of a variety of mechanical systems and equipment
• Support Project Managers and Project Engineers in their preparation of quotes
• Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS)
• Observe the requirements of any Permit to Work
• Follow efficient work procedures and techniques
• Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks
• Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variation
• Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated

Fabricator Requirements

• Have a minimum 5 years experience in MIG & TIG welding and fabrication
• Light welding and general fabrication experience for electrical containment systems and stainless steel support structures
• Able to work from technical drawings
• Capable of drafting simple fabrication drawings for customer acceptance
• Have a NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent or suitable Accreditation in Welding/Fabrication

Hours – Monday to Friday – 7am to 3:30pm (40 hour working week)

Salary – £14 to £15 an hour depending on experience
