We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering solutions provider who is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to support a range of reactive, planned maintenance, and small works projects across the South of England.

The successful candidate will work closely with a team of service engineers and report into the Area Service Manager, providing both onsite and remote technical support. A strong background in audio technology, basic electronics, and IT networking will be essential.

Role Overview:

• Location: Field-based across the South of England

• Working Hours: Flexibility required – day, night, and weekend work depending on project needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake planned maintenance and reactive servicing of PAVA systems in line with industry regulations.

• Diagnose faults, identify non-conformities, and complete detailed site reports.

• Provide technical assistance to other engineers both remotely and onsite.

• Ensure all health and safety procedures are consistently followed.

• Contribute to engineering meetings and technical discussions where required.

• Maintain clear daily communication and ensure all administration (timesheets, expenses, mileage logs) is completed accurately and promptly.

• Participate in audits covering vehicles, tools, and operational processes.

• Support any additional tasks as directed by management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous hands-on experience with commercial audio systems installation and maintenance.

• Recognised qualifications in electrical engineering, sound technology, or strong academic background in maths/science (GCSE/A-Level).

• IT literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
