Hudson Shribman are after a Production Engineer to work a late shift

Production Engineer Key to the role is processing the manufacturing and process engineering skills to support and
maintain SMT machines, conventional PCB assembly through to final assembly box build

Normal Working hours:
37hrs / week

Monday-Thursday: 16:00pm to 24:00am
Friday: 16:00pm – 23:30pm

Production Engineer Requirement

• A production engineer with a proven track record within electronics manufacturing
• Knowledge of PCB’s and components
• Respond to breakdowns / Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach
• Knowledge of SMT machines (Siemens desirable but not essential)
• Ability to produce high quality and accurate work instructions and impart knowledge
• Competency with CAD-CAM and drawing packages. MS Office.
• Liaise and communicate with other departments, managers, and customers
• Ability to plan and manage capital projects
• Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks
• Confidence to deliver results independently and as part of a team
• Ensure product and process quality meets the required specification
• Support installation of new machinery and equipment
• Contribute to CI activities / Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
