Hudson Shribman are seeking a Production Supervisor for a well-established manufacturing company

Duties & Responsibilities

• Planning production schedules and capacity to ensure optimum utilisation of resources
• Improve processes to ensure maximum output, cost efficiency and safe working conditions
• Ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and right quality standards
• Drive performance to meet daily/ weekly production targets /KPIs
• Lead, coach and train your team to enhance their skill sets and evaluate their performance
• Carry out training as required, including new starters and refresher training for existing employees
• Actively participate and drive Lean culture to create a world-class production facility

Experience

• Previous experience in a Production supervisor role is essential
• Health and Safety awareness
• Good communication skills with the ability to empathise
• Flexible approach to meet customer commitments
• A positive can-do attitude and solutions-driven
• Excellent team player
• Great organisation skills
• Good knowledge of ERP systems
• Knowledge of Lean is beneficial but not essential
• Competent with IT systems, particularly the Microsoft
