Internal Sales & Quotes Engineer
The internal Sales and Quotes Engineer will be Responsible for liaising directly with customers to provide support for technical enquiries, quoting and order intake.
Commercial Duties:
- Produce quotations that meet customer expectations.
- Create estimated Bills of Material for quotations.
- Provide accurate lead time estimates.
- Develop commercial and technical documentation for quotations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Respond to customer enquiries and follow-up questions from quotations.
- Review actual costs against estimates.
- Load sales orders and update information in Progress Plus.
- Handle invoicing as goods are delivered or vested.
- Provide customers with progress updates on current orders.
- Transmit documents to customers for review and approval.
- Assist with sales forecasting.
- Coordinate with transport contractors for deliveries.
- Liaise with new suppliers for product implementation or improvements.
- Record customer communications and ensure feedback is collected.
Sentinel Administrator:
- Fully empowered to carry out all functions and responsibilities.
- Delegate and assign tasks to ensure compliance with all Sentinel rules and regulations.
