SMT Supervisor – Surface Mount Technology – Late Shift
Supervisor must be able to demonstrate relevant experience either within a CEM or OEM where they previously gained supervisory experience.
You will be responsible for running and planning work through the department, improving both efficiency and quality by developing the team. You will be expected to coach your staff and monitor the quality of their work. You will also be required to interface with our engineers, solving problems on current work and communicating progress & status to the day shift Supervisor and Production Manager.
Normal working hours:
37 Hours Week
Monday Thursday: 16:00pm – 24:00am (Half Hour Lunch)
Friday: 16:00 pm – 23:30pm (Half Hour Lunch)
SMT Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Proven track record in a Supervisory role
- The capability to teach / coach others
- The gravitas to command respect and be heard
- Provide online support running the line when required
- Continually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality
- Document aspects of the Work Order including run times, hand fits, and proces deviations
- Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials
- Maintain high housekeeping standards
