Test Engineer

Test Engineer – Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Test Engineer within our client’s team. As a Test Engineer, you will report directly to the Test Supervisor and will be responsible for testing and fault-finding PCBs and SMT circuit boards at the component level. The testing equipment includes ICT, Boundary Scan (JTAG), and functional testing.  You must have a minimum of 2 years Test Engineer experience within the electronics industry, 

Test Engineer – Responsibilities:
•    PCB & SMT Test experience
•    Setting up & operating test equipment
•    Record test results using Excel or customer-specific software
•    Ability to interpret test results and take appropriate action
•    Fault finding to component level
•    Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials
•    Continually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality

Remuneration: up to £38k per annum depending on experience working
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00-16:30 (half-hour lunch)Friday: 08:00-13:00 (no lunch)
