Workshop Supervisor Responsibilities

• Supervise the assembly of a variety of electrical control panels and automation equipment
• Determine work rotas and completion of assigned tasks
• Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated
• Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS) and observe the requirements of any Permit to Work
• Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations

Workshop Supervisor Requirements

• Experience in supervising technicians for effective completion of task
• Minimum 5 years experience of industrial control panel assembly
• A comprehensive toolkit for completing assembly of control panels
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services – Panel Wiring / Panel Builder or Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly) or equivalent Approved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building (Desirable)

Salary: £34k to £40k depending on experience
