CNC Turner (Late Shift)

Job Title: Late Shift CNC Turner – Programmer/Setter/Operator

Scope of role: Programming, setting and operating various CNC Lathes

Standard Hours: 4pm – 2am Monday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Fanuc CNC programs
  • Complete machine set ups in line with company procedures
  • Comply with component quality requirements and ‘First Off’ process
  • Manage machine maintenance requirements and complete daily log
  • Ensure parts are finished and deburred in line with Rodford standards
  • Support all corrective actions, observations & reviews presented by the quality department
  • Fully support lean programmes: examples 6S and Lean manufacturing initiative programmes
  • Uphold company policies as directed by the senior management team

The applicant must have programming experience using Fanuc controls and extensive turning experience. Knowledge of current machining methods and tooling is essential. Previous experience with Live tooling and multi axis machines will be an advantage.

Hourly Rate: £18 – £20 depending on experience.
