Our client is looking for a dynamic Customer Services Coordinator to join their team. This role requires a professional (preferably with experience in the precision manufacturing/engineering Industry), who can seamlessly bridge the gap between product specifications and customer needs. The successful Customer Services Coordinator candidate will be customer-focused, leveraging their excellent communication skills to build strong relationships and provide exceptional support. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Customer Services Coordinator must be highly organised, proactive, and adept at using their initiative to identify and implement improvements in processes and solutions.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
Technical Expertise:

  • Communicate technical support to customers.
  • Work closely with the engineering teams and production manager to ensure customer requirements are met.
Customer Service
  • Provide excellent customer service from initial contact to delivery and after-sales support.
  • Liaising with the production manager to ensure that products are delivered on time.
  • Provide order status to our customers informing them of any changes to delivery dates.
  • Point of contact our customers, manage customer expectations and resolve issues.
Sales Administration
  • Raising customer quotations.
  • Raising sales orders.
  • Raising internal contract review documentation.
Other duties:
  • Attend sales meetings and represent the sales department at production and project meetings.

This permanent, full-time role is office-based working 37.5 hours per week (08:00 – 16:30 Mon to Thurs, 08:00 to 14:00 Fri).
