Hudson Shribman are looking for an Electrical Designer to join our client in Peterborough

As an Electrical Designer you will provide electrical service supporting all departments in the UK and abroad. Primarily providing day-to-day solutions for electrical design, programming, and testing of machines. This role will involve regular travel to the customer site.

Electrical Designer Responsibilities

• Support all departments in the Organization with electrical requests
• Working along site with all departments on customer projects
• Managing customer projects from an electrical point of view
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical drawings using computer-assisted engineering software estimating material, labour costs and project timescales
• Ordering and coordinating panels build and installation
• Designing and conducting tests
• Creating technical file
• Making sure projects (electrical design) meet electrical safety regulations
• Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical innovations

Electrical Designer Requirements

• Experience working in a similar role
• Knowledge & experience with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN

Hours – 37 hours a week

Hybrid work is available

Salary – £48k to £55k depending on experience
