Estimator required near Stansted

Hudson Shribman are looking for a Estimator for and Engineering company based near Stansted Airport

Estimator Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and optimization of market driven costings and manage and analyse all materials against a project
• Estimate CNC 3, 4, 5 Axis Milling and Turning as well as simple fabrication and assembly times
• Obtain material, bought out and treatment prices and lead-times
• Produce accurate costing estimates in response to customers / product developments
• Read and assess 2D and 3D drawings confidently
• Ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded and identify areas for improvement
• Preparation of quotes/submission, putting bids together
• Liaise with internal colleagues regarding product set-up, routings, and other technical aspects
• Follow company procedure and work to the correct process

Estimator Requirements

• Experience within CNC Milling and CNC Turning
• Experience working with Titanium, Aluminium and Steel
• Previous experience in estimating and costing is preferred
• Able to work to deadlines
• Experience working with in an engineering environment

Pay – up to £40k
