Lead Mechanical Fitter, required in Sandy

Hudson Shribman are looking an experienced Mechanical Fitter capable of running a team.

Lead Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities

• Oversee all machine builds while also assisting with fitting
• Working alongside the Production Manager, updating on successes, issues, concerns & opportunities
• Demonstrate strong engineering, mechanical skills to assist with manufacturing/production problems
• Be responsible for department H&S, making sure work area checks are carried out at the end of work day
• Covering area/tasks in the absence of the Production Manager
• Making sure all production is ready for electrical work

Lead Mechanical Fitter Requirements

• Minimum of 5-year’s experience, in a mechanical manufacturing environment
• Experience with Mechanical Special machine building and fitting
• Understanding and working to technical drawings, using measuring instruments & following SOP’s
• Bench craft skills
• Basic/general Manual machining and Electro-mechanical experience desirable

Salary – starting salary of £35k then rises to £39k after probation
