Maintenance Engineer responsibilities

• Provide electrical & mechanical maintenance to a range of CNC and specialist machinery
• Mechanical repairs to equipment
• Electrical repairs to motors, control panels, wiring, relays, contactors, switches and bulbs
• Resolve breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtime to a minimum
• Carry out refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery
• Fault finding, investigate reported faults, identify the cause and decide the necessary action
• Basic fabrication and Welding
• General property maintenance

Maintenance Engineer requirements

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Engineering environment
• Familiar experience with fault-finding and repairing CNC multi-axis machines
• Conversant with Fanuc & Mazak controls
• HNC or equivalent experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
