Hudson Shribman are looking for an Manual Machinist

Manual Machinist Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings.
• Setting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
• Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from lathe and mill
• Selecting the cutting tools for machining operations
• Performing roughing and finishing operations
• Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings
• Carrying out minor maintenance of lathe, mill and tools
• Cleaning work area, e.g. removing swarf and returning tooling & fixtures to storage
