PCB design Engineer

PCB design Capture Circuit diagrams for new electronic designs. Design PCB’s to embody the circuits, ensuring layouts conform to requirements of IPC, as well as to RF, thermal, and design for X requirements. Ensure design integrity using all tools provided.

PCB design Engineer Requirements:

• HNC in engineering. However would consider equivalents.
• Experience in engineering product life cycle and development phases.
• Preferably a minimum 4 year’s experience in PCB design
• Experience working within the Aerospace Sector would be an advantage.

Desirable:

• PCB Designs – are laid out simply and easily for manufacture in adherence to project or production agreed timescales.
• Drawing & documents used to support the PCB design are clear & unambiguous
• NCR’s answers are thorough and comprehensible as part of the Materials Review Board.
• That manufacturers can use the PCB design data produced (including Gerber files) easily with questions
• Minimal number of Change Requests on newly released designs as a result of PCB layout error
