Hudson Shribman are looking for a Receptionist

  • Meet all visitors and contractors at reception as first point of call, ensuring first class customer service is always provided
  • To attend and contribute to meetings as appropriate as well as maintain, implement, and comply with procedures/processes and ISO2700-1 requirements accordingly
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors are registered with building security/reception and logged on level 3Continually monitor the reception mailbox and action/file, accordingly, prioritising any urgent tasks as required Book meeting room requests for key stakeholders and manage cancellations as these arise
  • Update the visitors, staff and contractors log, storing data in the reception folder in line with compliance and ready for audit purposes
  • Daily collections of mail/packages from the loading bay. Sorting, logging and notifying the relevant individuals/departments with special arrangements to be made for larger deliveries
  • Open and distribute finance cheques/ GBT address mail to person of contact via DHL, notifying them of tracking reference details. Action and track outgoing packages and letters for Royal Mail and DHL Manage incoming calls in a friendly and polite manner as the face of the Company
  • Allocate and manage staff and contractor visitor passes, replacing and cancelling where necessary
  • Manage the locker allocation on levels 2&3, programme these lockers and record details via excel spreadsheets
  • Liaise with daytime cleaner on supply levels such as Milk/Coffee Log vendor/building/maintenance service faults if required to support building/facilities management
  • Weekly restock of magazines (and bands) to the reception area and library
  • To support in health and safety checks and logging within the office
  • Occasional requests and support for ordering and arranging taxi services for guests and visitors.
