Hudson Shribman – Service Engineer Required

Our client is a well-established, world leading special purpose machine manufacturer based in the Bedfordshire area. In support of continued success and an increasing customisation of machines, they are seeking an experienced Service Engineer.

Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire

Main Duties for a Service Engineer

• Installation of new machinery
• Service of existing machinery
• Machine breakdown response, Spare Parts.
• Providing telephone and/or email support for machine breakdowns
• Conducting site visits

Role Related Skill, Knowledge, Experience Required for a Service Engineer

Experience:
• Mechanical/Electrical ENGINEERING BACKGROUND
• Electrical certification for working with 3 phase installations
• At least 5 years experience in servicing machinery
• Experience of installing/ commissioning machinery
• Experience with Siemens/ Allen Bradley would be beneficial.

Skills:
• Ability to fault find machines and implement reliable solutions
• Abilty to look for and recommend features for product development to improve the product range
• Fully conversant with MS Office
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Personal Attributes:
• Must hold valid Passport
• Excellent communication skills

Service Engineer Position Remuneration:
Overtime will also be paid whilst travelling. Estimated OTE is £55K-£60K(+)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 hrs
Friday 08:30 to 16:00 hrs
