Hudson Shribman are looking for a Systems Engineer to join an experienced automation & EOL testing equipment organization planning to increase its presence on a global scale.They are a very dynamic & technology driven organization that has an incredible future in the sector with aggressive growth plans.

The ideal candidate will have a background in controls and automation engineering.

Systems Engineer responsibilities

• Developing engineering specifications from customer requirements
• Design software and systems to specification, cost and time targets
• Software/System problem solving
• Carry out unit, regression and integration testing at all phases of development
• Prepare technical reports and documentation

Systems Engineer requirements

• Experience working in the Automation, Software or Systems Engineering field
• Robot programming and commissioning
• Experience of working with Siemens S7 1200/1500 and Omron NX
• Experience with GIT software version control
• Good understanding of Vision, Robot, production line testing, Programmable Logic Controllers and other automation technology is desirable
• Electrical design within the domain of special purpose machines is desirable
• A minimum of BTEC Level 4/5, HND/HNC in a relevant field to Automation/Special purpose machines and/or Software/System design

Salary – up to £42k depending on experience
