Hudson Shribman are looking for Workshop Assistant

Workshop Assistant responsibilities

  • Working in, and maintaining a clean indoor environment
  • Booking in, locating and moving stock in a workshop stores system
  • Loading / unloading delivery vehicles
  • Use of basic hand tools, hand drill, hand saw
  • Assisting with final product packing
  • Completing basic safety checks on workshop equipment

Workshop Assistant requirements

  • Have basic mechanical aptitude or interest in mechanical engineering
  • A tidy and organised manner
  • Be able to listen and follow instructions
  • Physically fit for manual handling
  • Forklift truck and overhead crane experience
  • Full UK driving licence (with no more than 3 points)

Hours: Monday to Friday day shift

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000pa depending on experience + Generous Pension + Bonus + Benefits
